We load data (from EMS/Kafka/Batch files), store data (in Elastic Search, Open Search, Dynamo DB, and soon Aurora), in some cases publish data to Kafka, and we build and provide APIs/search services on our datastores.
Our consumers are other technology applications with the exception of one which was built in the cloud. All of these products were built on prem and we are in the process of modernizing them and moving them to the cloud (AWS).
From a language perspective, we use Java on prem and Python in the cloud. (Java is going away and Python is the direction they are going.)
In parallel with modernization work, we are enhancing products to support functionality related to specific initiatives.
