Description

Solve business problems using modern web development tools such as React, Redux and JavaScript. Take general requirements from the business and turn them into actionable items for the software development team. Write and deploy software that is maintainable and readable by other software developers. Modify existing applications to correct errors or improve performance. Ensure software product quality. Propose new software solutions to EOG business problems. Design, develop and maintain various software databases, and non-relational databases such as NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Time Based DB. Leverage asynchronous programming including Promises, async/await and ES7 generators, along with state management using Redux. Use Microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, database-driven web applications as well as vanilla JavaScript techniques including ReactJS, Redux, and ES6/ES7 features to build applications.

Responsibilities

• Must have 5-10 years of software development experience.
• Requires 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Must have strong experience in User Interface design. Should be open-minded, flexible and be able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Should be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with modern and vanilla JavaScript techniques including ReactJS, Redux, and ES6/ES7 features.
• Familiarity connecting to Microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and other database-driven web applications.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Modern web security methodologies & familiarity with both relational databases and non-relational databases (NoSQL, Elastic Search, Time Based DB)
• Asynchronous programming including Promises, async/await, and ES7 generators, along with state management using Redux.
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Educational Requirements

• The five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer must have involved the use of JavaScript techniques ReactJS, Redux, and ES6/ES7 features and must have included experience with relational and non-relational databases, asynchronous programming, and third-party libraries and APIs.
