• Design develop and Unit Test new features on consumer facing website and internal lending system using React Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL • Participate in peer reviews of pull requests and provide productive feedback to improve the quality of work • Build test automation scripts for CI/CD • Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as iteration planning retrospective and daily stand-ups • Review and groom Users Stories with the project team to understand and clarify intent • Tracks and communicates delivery progress and risks to Project Management and stakeholders • Build B2B API integrations and work with 3rd Party counterparts for successful integration. • Provide Production Support for the product • Ensure coding and processes support company security privacy and compliance principles • Create and maintain system documentationDescription
Flagship Credit seeks a Full Stack Engineer to join us in building our new direct-to-consumer financing platform. We are looking for a collaborative engineer, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating phenomenal user experiences that people genuinely want to use. We are a growing mid-size Auto Lending Company, and this position provides the ability to have a huge impact on the product and the company. As part of an Agile project team, you will work closely with the business to define, design, build and release innovate solutions to provide an amazing experience for our customers and internal users.
Work remote or from our corporate office located in Chadds Ford, PA or our secondary site in Coppell, TX.
Responsibilities
- • Expert in web development using React, Ruby-on-Rails, and relational database (PostgreSQL preferred)
- • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- • Proactive support mindset in building applications that can be easily supported in production environments
- • Experienced in Agile Application Development (3+ years)
- • Enjoys and excels at problem-solving and has strong analytical skills
- • Flexible mindset and able to adapt to fluid requirements and schedules
- • Background in building consumer facing applications in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
- • Good understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and OIDC
- • Enjoys teaching and mentoring junior members on any of the technical skills listed
