RPG Programmer AS400 IBM iSeriesDescription
- Proficient in RPG, RPGLE free form and CLLE languages on the IBM i (previously known as AS400) operating system
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in using Excel, and other text editors to edit, calculate, validate, merge, extract contents from/to files
- Knowledge of Opentext Exstream
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to be able to identify and remediate data/program issues
- Ability to follow best practices, and continuously learn through Job Aids/Reference Guides or other ongoing opportunities
- Ability to transform requirements into quality code and create output as per the requirements
- Experience documenting internal processes
- Ability to identify areas of process improvements and opportunities for automation
