The Business Analyst (BA) is a member of the Fidelity Health Customer Solutions Business Analyst Chapter which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad) collaborating with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. This is a newly created squad tasked with building a new HIPAA compliant Salesforce instance which will integrate both participant details and vendor data to create a scalable support model and an improved experience for Fidelity’s Reimbursement Account customers.
Description

As a Business Analyst Consultant, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience.

You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology teams to create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-8+ years Business/Systems Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
  • Experience interacting with internal or external customers to find opportunities for improvement within current systems, eliciting new product requirements, and gathering/incorporating feedback from those partners on proposed solutions
  • Experience with building Salesforce solutions using standard configuration capabilities in Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with product development that is subject to regulation and legal review and approval
  • Foundational understanding of software architecture concepts and API development
  • Solid understanding of health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
  • Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus

  • Ability to understand sophisticated customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team

  • Look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get work done better and faster
  • Excellent listening, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills

  • Skilled at forming relationships, fostering strong teams, and influencing others
  • You are a self-motivated, great teammate with the ability to plan and complete work independently, and partner effectively to handle dependencies
  • Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time, as well as drive process improvement
  • You have excellent business judgement and maintain confidentiality of all data
