Description

Converting legacy SFCC, Site Genesis, and SFRA architecture to utilize composable storefront/pwa kit architecture. Will need to have comprehensive knowledge of the Salesforce Commerce cloud.
React on front-end and, back-end coding in JavaScript Devs should have comprehensive knowledge of SFCC back-end APIs and implement those APIs through SF Hooks.
Devs will be distributed across different teams like Checkout, Cart, Product Selection, etc. Client interviews the Sr. SFCC Back End Engineer.

BBW will be starting the journey to modernize our e-commerce website. The new solution will be a modern, headless unified frontend, on the newest Salesforce Commerce Platform (Salesforce Headless with SF APIs called directly by the frontend (SF API Layer / SF Runtime Environment / SF Commerce)).
The Application Developer is an experienced developer who has a thorough understanding of principles in backend development with one or more programming languages and has previous relevant experience with agile or iterative development. This individual contributor will have the curiosity to learn the latest technologies, keep up with the latest frameworks and IT trends, and work in a fast-paced retail environment. As a member of a dynamic agile product team, the Application Developer will work closely with a diverse group of cross-functional partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, aligned with business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technologies (Note: show any relevant technologies on
• external job description only.)
• Recent experience upgrading SFCC from Site Genesis/SFRA to Composable Storefront.
• Experience creating custom API calls using hooks.
• Experience developing in the SFCC platform.
• Working knowledge with CI/CD tracking tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
• Experience with JSON, XML, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with JavaScript and libraries such as Node, Express, jQuery, AngularJS, React, Vue, etc. Experience with TDD ( test-driven development )
• Experience with consuming RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Working knowledge of developer management tools such as Jira & Confluence

Educational Requirements

• Experience with one or more backend development languages, such as Node JS, Express, Python, GoLang, Java, Ruby, PHP, or others.
• Experience with client-server technology, as well as Server-side JavaScript.
• Experience creating and managing API integrations and data feeds Analysis and debugging skills to quickly identify the root cause for resolution (small complexity)
• Working knowledge of database concepts including SQL, and working knowledge of NoSQL is a plus Collaborative, inclusive, and flexible team member.
