· - Determine the optimal release strategy for new functionality. For example should we adopt a “big-bang” approach or strive for a minimal viable product? · - Confirm our migration strategy for existing SRM vendors. · - Determine any other technical factors we need to consider when cutting over to a new Ariba system such as system downtime back out plans and the ability to run both SRM and Ariba simultaneously. · - Evaluate which existing interfaces will be impacted by a migration from SRM to Ariba as well as any new interfaces which must be built. · - Plan for a data migration of suppliers open purchase orders contracts G/L accounts and other objects. We are in need of an approach which minimizes manual intervention and maximizes automation and speed. · - Understand what system-level controls are available to ensure we continue to comply with company policies and risk abatement procedures. · - Understand what standard reports and dashboards are available to facilitate operational decision making as well as overall progress in meeting strategic KPIs. · - Plan an environment strategy that supports multiple phases of testing mock cutovers and code deployments.Description
Our Client is undertaking a Source to Pay (S2P) transformation project to replace an aging SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system with Ariba. The goal of this initiative is to improve the buying experience, streamline the procurement process by removing manual steps and workarounds and to provide tools to enable better buying decisions. Overall, client seeks to obtain better value from its vendors and unlock a number of potential savings and benefits.The current program is built around three functional or product teams focusing on (1) purchase requisitions and purchase orders, (2) goods receipts and invoices receipts, and (3) contract management. They are working together to define and implement this functionality to support nine different buying channels which dictate how National Grid procures goods and services.We are looking for an Ariba solution architect who can lead teams to help :
