There are a lot of inbound and outbound interfaces – this individual will not be building the treasury systems but integrating legacy systems with SAP. Lots of cross border integrations hedging bank statements/payments (invoices). He/she will be analyzing technical and function integration requirements. This individual will be joining a growing group of 5 people to support this big project. He/She will be joining as a SAP FI Business Analyst within the SAP ERP scrum team attending virtual daily standups and bi-weekly sprint ceremonies. They will work with Business SMEs to understand requirements and desired functionality to support new processes or align a country to the regional template. Work with SAP Technical Functional Analyst and ABAP Developer to develop solution for new functionality. Act as key contact for finance teams assist with answering queries and support testing and Identify opportunities to maximize existing systems functionality and streamline related business processes.Description
Experience in SAP FI/CO implementations and production support, either as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with SAP and finance systems is required, preferably in SAP and Business Data Warehouse (BW) Environment.
Proven knowledge of G/L, A/R, A/P, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis and Internal Orders, Procure to Pay processes, SAP Query
Experience of handling VAT -related changes (tax codes functionality and set up, VAT rate changes, condition records, customer master)
In-depth understanding of SAP configuration and functionality across FI/CO and SD modules (this is not a hands-on configuration role)
Understanding of integration points with OTC processes (Intercompany billing, Customer Billing, Customer Master, Pricing, Order Flow)
Experience in interface support
Self Starter
Responsibilities
- • Help IBM Support team with complex queries that come through ticketing process
- • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes ensuring no negative impact across other Finance and Order to Cash functions.
- • Support standardization of process improvement and sharing best practice across the organization
- • Participate in Project teams as Subject Matter Experts on Finance Business Processes as required
- • Ensure conformance to all J&J compliance and security policies and procedures
- • Create training documentation and/or conduct business partner system training for all implemented tools
