Hands on experience scripting with SAS - must be recent and the core of their skillset Must have strong analytical skills Experience in a UNIX environment is a huge plus not required Additional experience such as Python SQL R will be helpfulDescription
This person will be responsible for enhancing/modernizing legacy ETLs using SAS. They will also be exposed to projects dealing with Python down the road. Ongoing work for the Southern California Permanente Group.
Responsibilities
- High level skills in SAS graph, macros, PROC SQL, ODS, SAS/ACCESS, data extraction from large relational databases.
- Experience with Unix environment and Unix scripts.
- Ability to express complex technical information to audiences with clinical trainings
- Excellent analytic and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and ability to work within a team.
- • Must be an independent self-starter.
- Both efficient and detail-oriented.
