Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and reviews) and ensure they are conducted effectively. Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and ensuring it is well-groomed and prioritized. Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress and escalate issues when necessary. Track and report on key metrics such as sprint velocity burndown charts and team performance. Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. Ensure that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices and guide the team in self-organization. Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to share best practices and improve overall Agile practices within the organization. Support the team in delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with the company's goals. Assist in the identification and management of risks dependencies and uncertainties in the project.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the Utility domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a proven track record of successfully facilitating Scrum processes in a utility environment. As a Scrum Master at FPL, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects by guiding teams, removing obstacles, and ensuring that Agile principles are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience in the Utility domain, preferably with knowledge of energy distribution, power generation, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Experience with large-scale Agile transformations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the Utility sector.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
