Skills

12+ years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role. Strong background in the Property and Casualty insurance domain. Proven experience leading and managing Scrum teams in a complex fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban etc.). Experience with Agile project management tools such as Rally JIRA or equivalent. Soft Skills: Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Description

The client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Scrum Master with a strong background in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of successfully leading Scrum teams. Experience with Rally is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate, and conduct all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Ensure that the Scrum process is followed and continually improved.
• Guide and support Scrum teams to deliver high-quality products and adhere to Agile principles.
• Mentor and coach team members on Agile best practices and ensure their growth and development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide transparency and align on project goals and progress.
• Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution within the team.
• Track team performance metrics and report progress to management and stakeholders.
• Utilize Rally (or similar tools) to manage and track team activities, sprints, and backlog items.
• Promote continuous improvement practices within the team and organization.
• Conduct regular retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans.
