Waste Management is looking for a Snowflake Data Architect/Modeler working in an agile/scrum environment with strong SQL to design the enterprise data warehouse. Experience in Snowflake Matillion AWS S3 bucket Python is desired as this is their ODS layer.Description
- 2-4 years as a Snowflake Data Architect working in an agile/scrum environment.
- Must have strong SQL to develop new and enhance existing data mart models and design the enterprise data warehouse.
- Leadership skills to provide guidance to the data engineering team
- AWS / S3 environment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing an enterprise data warehouse, suggest improvements to residential data mart, and develop/enhance new data models that meet the business requirements and backlog priorities.
- Lead Scrum Team in developing and enhancing new data models that meet the business requirements and backlog priorities.
- Collaborate with existing environment Lead Data Architect and Scrum Team to iteratively develop new views and tables for curation to other product teams.
- Provide expertise in Snowflake configurations, schemas, and keys to continuously improve performance.
- Work closely with the Data Engineer, Scrum Team and ETL Lead to consume and refine staged assets from AWS for curation.
