Carefirst is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support its DevOps Team and will be working on the cloud-native piece of DevSecOps. Will be responsible for containerizing multiple mid-tier applications, including automation using Python, shell, YAML, and CloudFormation.
This resource is expected to be in a hands-on capacity while also mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years of cloud and CloudNative, Kubernetes, and Containers experience
- 12+ years of overall engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity. is a MUST
- Ability to mentor mid-level & jr. Engineer resources.
- Hands-on skills with technologies such as Argo CD, Cloudbees, BitBucket, Sonar, Artifactory (all not required)
- Knowledge in Continuous Integration (CI), Testing (CT), Security and deployment (CD) concepts.
- Experience creating automation solutions in Python, Shell, and/or OOP Languages
