Seeking a Senior Architect to lead front-end architecture and integration for customer engagement solutions, leveraging Next.js, React, Salesforce, Kafka, and omnichannel technologies to enhance digital and in-store experiences.

Technical Skills & Experience
Front-End Development: Expert in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Bootstrap.
Experience with Next.js, Rush.js, and React Query (MFE V3 stack).


Architecture & Integration: Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, GraphQL, WebSockets, and headless CMS/eCommerce solutions.
Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.


Clientelling & CRM Platforms: Experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or Experience Cloud), Tulip, NewStore, or similar platforms.


Omnichannel & Contact Center Solutions: Knowledge of IVR, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), chatbots, messaging APIs (Twilio, Vonage), and AI-powered customer engagement tools.


Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, serverless computing, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).


Security & Compliance: Understanding of OAuth, SSO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and best practices in data security and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project-level solution design ensuring the solution design optimally satisfies
• needs and expectations of the project stakeholders
• Advocates and champions Enterprise Architecture and Domain Architecture recommendations to the project team
• Responsible for overall solution quality; security, performance, flexibility, availability, etc.
• Responsible for deciding technologies to use in the solution not already defined by the Domain
• Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams
• Responsible for architecture deliverables such as; non-functional requirements, system
• diagrams, data models, and traceability matrix to track and monitor the solution from
• requirements to design to implementation to test cases
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands on working experience on Java and related JEE/J2EE technology stack
• 5+ years of hands-on Architecture experience is required
• Experience must include programming APIs; Java/JEE; Hibernate; Spring Framework; JSP; AJAX;
• JavaScript; XML and XML parsers; SOAP/REST web services; service-oriented architectures
• (SOA); data modeling skills; and writing stored procedures.
• Experience working with any of the Servlet containers or Enterprise containers like Tomcat, BEA
• WebLogic, IBM WebSphere or JBOSS. Should have knowledge in using any of the mentioned
• servers like deployment, configuring & troubleshooting
• Retail and payment domain experience (highly valued)
• Experience with integration of third-party tools and cloud middleware platforms
• Able to design SaaS solutions that scale and perform with rock solid reliability, ability to identify
• and build-in key application monitoring hooks to allow for optimal management of the solution.
• Capable of working with Operations to plan major infrastructure upgrades, to troubleshoot
• issues and to tune the environment for optimal performance and uptime.
• Must be capable of providing leadership for junior and senior software engineers alike,
• understands how to leverage and enhance their current skills
• Ability to use and communicate system design patterns and anti-patterns
• Ability to manage solution architecture design to align to business value
• Ability to build solution architecture models using UML.
• Ability to strongly justify the proposed architecture and design in a comparative mode.
• Ability to develop and manage architecture models such as activity models, class models and
• data models
• Minimum of 5 years developing real world scaled solutions with knowledge of full application
• development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies; waterfall, agile and hybrid.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation and negotiation.
