Splunk Cloud Engineer

Description

Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Splunk Cloud environments tailored to meet high standards of observability, monitoring, and performance insights.
Independently execute and manage Splunk Cloud implementations, ensuring optimal integration with various data sources and IT systems for seamless, real-time observability.
Develop custom dashboards, visualizations, and alerts to enhance monitoring capabilities and facilitate faster incident response.
Fine-tune search and indexing performance, optimize data ingestion, and ensure Splunk Cloud solutions are robust, scalable, and resilient.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to understand business needs, align observability solutions, and guide teams on best practices.
Identify and resolve technical challenges within the Splunk environment, including data ingestion issues, search performance, and clustering.

Responsibilities

• 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing Splunk solutions with a focus on Splunk Cloud and observability frameworks.
• Deep expertise in SPL (Search Processing Language), data onboarding, and building real-time monitoring solutions in a cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of designing and architecting observability solutions, with experience leading end-to-end implementations independently.
