SQL Database Analyst

Description

Exhibits advanced knowledge of developing and supporting Database Management Systems and data modeling techniques. Responsible for medium to large scale database assignments with minimal direction from Lead staff. Explains advanced technical concepts using written and verbal skills. Exhibits and applies advanced proficiency in analysis, design, problem solving, troubleshooting, resolution, communication, and customer service skills. Translates logical model to physical database structure ensuring enhanced application performance. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the database environments for medium to large scale applications and development efforts. Performs database optimization according to business requirements and best practices. Responsible for providing database expertise to software development staff.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 8 years database experience (in addition to any experience identified above)
• 1. Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call support.
• 2. License/Certifications: SQL certified DBA is preferred, but not mandatory.
• 3. MongoDB experience is preferred but not mandatory
• 4. Ability to interact with developers
