Software Engineer needed to support Networks & Connectivity Engineering (NCE) division located in the Annapolis, Maryland headquarters.
The communications system is a mission critical aviation communications network where protocols and high availability are integral to the software development. Development of GLOBALink products entails customer requirements elicitation, system design, software design, development, followed by unit and integration testing, and finally formal acceptance testing. From system requirements, the successful candidate will create a software design and develop code to meet the planned schedule. All work follows established CMMI work procedures and adheres to coding standards.
Responsibilities
- - Bachelor’s degree
- - Experience developing, testing, and deploying software
- - Skilled in creating secure codes
- - Be able to work efficiently in a highly integrated team environment.
- - Knowledge and experience of Linux systems
- - Knowledge and experience of AWS
- - Knowledge and experience on few development languages, especially Python and C
- - Possess solid writing skills
- - Excellent communication skills
