Skills
• 4 to 7 years of experience in analysis design programming and implementation of information systems in a corporate environment. • Proficiency in Linux environments Kornshell/Bash scripting PL/SQL and working with relational databases (e.g. Oracle). • Ability to support and maintain third-party and in-house applications. • Familiarity with system debugging and troubleshooting in production environments. • Experience in implementing and documenting step-by-step deployment processes. • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment. • Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
Description

• Support and maintain the Outage Management System (OMS) to ensure the efficient restoration of outages.
• Implement new patches, configurations, and updates to the vendor product as needed by the Control Center.
• Maintain, update, and debug mission-critical core and in-house applications.
• Perform programming/debugging activities for new system development.
• Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and optimize both vendor products and in-house applications.
• Migrate code changes between Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Debug and trace log files, Kornshell scripts, and PL/SQL for troubleshooting purposes.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Open and manage Service Requests and collaborate with support teams to evaluate, test, and validate updates for Oracle DB and Linux patches.
• Work closely with technical teams to resolve server issues, permission problems, cluster issues, and manage BizTalk orchestrations for middleware.
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Security policies and safety regulations.
• Document deployment processes and maintain a detailed log of issues and resolutions.

Responsibilities
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • • Knowledge of .NET development, Web/Windows development, Web Services, and Version Control Software (Git, TFS).
  • • Experience with Perl, Python, and Weblogic.
  • • Familiarity with Message Queueing (IBM MQ), Websphere, and Apache/IIS.
  • • Knowledge of Mapping/GIS systems and BizTalk middleware.
  • • Experience in SQL Server and SQL Developer or similar tools.
