As part of a Wireless Platform team you will support multiple critical applications by responding to high-volume incidents and providing resolutions to Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets. This team oversees VMware (Private Cloud) KAS (Kubernetes platform) Data Ops and Systems Operations (Shared Services). The focus is on VMware and Systems Operations with opportunities to work on Kubernetes and AWS. Horizontal movement for technical expertise expansion and career growth is encouraged. Must-Have Skills: 2-3 years of professional experience ideally within an enterprise environment supporting high volumes of tickets and incidents. Experience resolving T1 T2 and T3 tickets. Platform support experience specifically within VMware and Linux. Experience building and administering multiple VMware products across multiple locations and data centers. Familiarity with VMware services and tools. Scripting knowledge (Shell Python PowerShell). Experience tracking tickets within JIRA and updating completion/documentation as needed.Description
Support and maintain multiple cell sites within the new 5G network.
Configure and maintain Distributed Units (DUs) consisting of servers (Linux/VMware).
Address and resolve outages affecting customer wireless networks.
Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure outages are fixed in priority and severity sequence.
Responsibilities
- Kubernetes and AWS experience.
- Education/Certification Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume incidents/tickets impacting customer wireless networks.
- Respond promptly to priority tickets due to outages, prioritizing based on severity.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and document actions.
- Help restore service at outage sites.
- Run scripts and perform deployments based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
- Perform scheduled health checks.
