Description
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into clear and concise functional specifications.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
Process Analysis: Analyze and improve business processes.
Functional Specifications: Create detailed functional specifications for development teams.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals.
Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables.
Testing: Participate in testing activities to ensure quality.
Requirements:
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify solutions.
Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and industry trends.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technology expertise : Knowledge in mobile application lifecycle management (iOS , Android and React Native) and Content Management System (Contentful CMS)
Domain Expertise: Knowledge of specific industry domains (Hospitality)
Certification: Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
Responsibilities
- Effectively listen to customer needs, concerns, and feedback. Understand and respond to customer emotions and perspectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust and reliability.
- Identify and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. Keep the customer informed about project progress and potential issues.
- Stakeholder Management
- Identify key stakeholders and their interests to develop effective communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
- Set clear expectations and manage stakeholder expectations. Resolve conflicts and disagreements among stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork among cross-functional teams. Influence stakeholders to support project goals.
- Manage change effectively and minimize resistance.
- Cross-Functional Team Coordination
- Work collaboratively with teams from different functions (e.g., development, design, marketing).
- Identify and manage dependencies between teams and resolve conflicts and disagreements
- Align teams towards common goals and objectives through regular communication
- Ensure shared understanding of project requirements and goals.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a technology-driven organization.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
- Experience with Agile tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
