Experience developing microservices in Java Spring Boot, REST API development and best practices, Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Experience with 12 factor applications, Kafka and Event Streaming, Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases and integration with them in API development (Postgres, DB2, Oracle, etc), Knowledge of software development best practices, Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub, Familiarity with web service integration and/or event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Understanding of Software Development Methodologies Understanding of security best practices, Strong problem solving skills, Strong collaboration skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Seeking a high-octane local certified Product Owner with a minimum of 7 years in role. This individual will serve as Product Owner for a highly technical solution team that is primarily comprised of java spring boot engineers. The overall assignment is related to replacing a legacy mainframe application by migrating to a hosted solution.
• The successful candidate will have DIRECT experience leading development team(s) through a similar type of initiative (on prem mainframe --> hosted platform).
• This individual will also have practitioner experience leveraging java spring/spring boot as a developer.
• Deep knowledge of domain-driven design and architecture is required.
• Knowledge of mortgage/real estate lending is required.
