Skills
8+ years of proven experience managing technology projects and business process improvement to successful delivery. Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss business and technical concepts manage tradeoffs and highlight risks appropriately. Demonstrated ability to partner with technical operational business and other cross-functional stakeholders across the company and ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. Proven expertise at driving projects through entire SDLC creating schedules managing expectations and risks. Experience with facilitating and/or coaching scrum teams to adopt scrum ceremonies and deliver potentially shippable products. Experience developing SaaS products and technologies. Business acumen combined with technical background. Possess entrepreneurial spirit and initiative with desire to contribute to a fast-paced organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective in communicating across all levels of the organization from developers to executive management to partner clients. Bachelor’s Degree in business management information systems or related technical field. Auction.com seeks a senior program manager to track, facilitate and successfully deliver multiple strategic Technology development related projects and Business process improvement. This position requires process improvement, broad technical knowledge and skills across many applications and platforms. This position will include the management of all projects within an individual program in order to deliver successful releases of shippable products that enhance organizational success.
Responsibilities
- · Drive the delivery of strategic technology programs
- · Demonstrate strong leadership, structure, teamwork and critical thinking to organize successful delivery of multiple projects under a strategic program.
- · Facilitate release planning exercise for the program with cross-functional teams that may include members from product, operations, marketing, engineering, legal and business development departments.
- · Coach and mentor Scrum teams on the program to adopt new models and frameworks that unlock productivity, quality, and innovation.
- · Communicate status and critical path aspects of the program; deliver messages that are clear and concise; engage and maintain strong working relationships with senior management leaders across the organization for the overall success of the program.
- · Work with cross-functional teams to establish and manage realistic and committed program schedules, taking into consideration deadlines, dependencies, resources and costs when making changes and decisions to schedule.
- · Partner with cross-functional team to Identify resource needs for successful delivery of program goals across multiple projects.
- · Work with executive/senior leadership sponsors to resolve project issues/impediments and any team conflicts for enabling the program success.
- · Partner with Internal Communications, Operations, Training and Marketing teams to develop and orchestrate strategies, milestones and deliverables required to effective Change Management.
- · Partner effectively with both local and remote teams and external partners using various communication methodologies to promote team collaboration.
- · Maintain SharePoint site for the program to drive cross-functional alignment and transparency into the initiative.
