Teradata DBA

Description

Design, implement, and maintain the bank's Teradata databases
Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
Optimize database performance and ensure that the databases meet the bank's requirements for security, availability, and scalability
Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that the databases meet the bank's requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures
Participate in database capacity planning and forecasting
Keep up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends

Responsibilities

• Teradata System Administrator
• Write SQL Queries
• Maintenance job with Vendor and data center
• Maintain Systems administrator on tickets
• At least 10 years of experience as a Teradata DBA in a large-scale environment
• Strong knowledge of Teradata architecture and utilities
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus
• Teradata Certified Master is a plus
