Test Automation Engineer

Description

As a Test Automation Engineer III at Frost, you would:
• Oversee, design, review, build, and deploy test automation solutions and frameworks for the most complex, interrelated systems to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
• Lead the troubleshooting and triage of the most complex escalated system issues with project teams to identify the root causes, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
• Guide and mentor other Test Automation Engineers to ensure that their test automation solutions and scripts align with Frost’s automation framework and industry standards.
• Collaborate with product management, project management, development teams, and business stakeholders to develop project, product, and testing objectives
• Writing and executing functional test cases when required

Responsibilities

• To be successful, you will need:
• • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• • 5+ years of test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver or Appium
• • Technical development experience with multiple programming or scripting languages and using Selenium as framework
• • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts
• • Strong understanding of Java and scripting languages like Ruby or python, using Selenium as framework and independently identifying technical issues including misconfigurations and code defects
• • Demonstrated experience developing functional, load or batch test automation solutions
• • Expert knowledge of the role of Test Automation and Software Quality Assurance in the development process
• • Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns
• • Demonstrate experience developing API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate
• • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL
• • Experience with a -control management system like GIT and conflict resolution.
• • Strong understand of software testing life cycle (STLC)
• • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline technology
