Create and maintain automated tests running in a continuous integration environment. Ensure excellent application usability through careful manual testing Collaborate with Product team development team and backend teams to plan test and release high-quality features in the apps. Implement test cases/scripts including Systems Integration Regression and Performance Testing Follow and help cultivate consistent development best practices. Work closely with development team to iteratively test concurrently with feature development. Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies. The Quality Engineering consultant roles will be based in the Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) Technology organization, which will have a keen focus on platform modernization, bringing to life the latest technology stacks to support the ongoing needs of the business as well as compliance against global regulatory requirements.
Selected candidates will be reporting to a Test Director within the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team and assigned to a SCRUM team lead. Candidates will be expected to be on site (where possible) with their assigned SCRUM team in one of three locations: Phoenix, AZ, Gurgaon, India or Virtual.
Responsibilities
- · 10+ years' Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices including frameworks such as Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, Jmeter
- · For automation testing, candidates should have a strong knowledge of on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, XLR and running test cases on cloud like Hydra or GCP/AWS).
- · Candidates should also know how to integrate the regression test cases in XLR deployment to ensure test cases are executed prior to deploying to E3 along with email/Splunk notifications for failures.
- · Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, and Cucumber, Postman and Playwright.
- · For API testing, experience with RestAssured, TestNG, and Postman is helpful.
- · Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environment and platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins.
- · Experience in working with onshore/offshore model
- · For Manual testing, candidates should have experience and knowledge on Rally and Jira.
- · Knowledge of automated build / continuous delivery, experience of Maven, Jenkins and other JVM languages.
- · Hands-on experience with automated testing Exposure to distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- · Manages seamlessly across time zones, cultures, and band levels.
- · Communicates effectively with Technical, Operational, and Business stakeholders.
- · Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and opinions directly to wider team in team meetings via teleconference.
- · Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- · Must be proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven.
