Skills

Bachelor's degree in an applicable design discipline preferred Proficient in industry-standard design tools including Sketch Photoshop Illustrator MS Office as well as workflow and asset management tools including Abstract Zeplin and Jira 3-5 years of experience in the UX design space Experience working with teams in international markets preferred Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the designs the team is creating and what is involved in integrating those technical components on websites SEO emails and omnichannel experiences (BOPIS SFS Store locator etc.) Experience in complex enterprise-wide programs with multiple stakeholders; ability to overcome obstacles to complete projects and deliver results Strong visual communication skills to effectively integrate features and design plans Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills as you are expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams Effective management communication and tracking of project deliverables against timelines Experience collaborating and working within design teams Ability to manage work autonomously be organized and follow through/execute successfully

The Digital Technology Team is responsible for the development and support of Newell Brands Marketing and eCommerce websites globally, such as YankeeCandle.com, GracoBaby.com, Sharpie.com, Dymo.com, Rubbermaid.com, and many others. We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to contribute to the next generation of digital experiences at Newell Brands.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the UX design and wireframing execution tied to new feature development for our global sites
• Identify, define, and problem solve, while also driving the next generation innovative UX solutions for our brands
• Partner with wide array of cross-functional partners (research, creative, product, DTC, architecture, engineering, global teams) to align on platform & brand needs
• Responsible for ensuring deadlines are met and design/wireframe work is executed to specifications
• Contribute to the build-out of a design system that meets the needs of the wide array of brands in the Newell portfolio
• Provide a forward-facing perspective on future platform enhancements tied to consumer experiences & front-end functionality
