Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent, hands-on experience directly with VMware Horizon, supporting mid/large scale VDI deployments, and directly supporting VMware ESXi on-premise environments.
Must have application packaging experience using VMware AppVolume.
Must have experience using DEM and FSLogix for profile management and optimization.
Responsibilities
- BA in Computer Science (or related), or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building, deploying and managing VMware Horizon in a medium/large scale environment
- At least 5 years of experience directly supporting VMware ESXi on-premise environments
- 3+ years developing and maintaining virtual workstation OS images, including optimization and profile management using DEM and FSLogix as well as Application Packaging using AppVolume.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with monitoring, optimization, including user experience, infrastructure and automated issue resolution
- Experience supporting a virtual end user platform in a multi-datacenter, multi-domain environment
- Demonstrated experience with tier 3 end user support
