Systems Architect Functions - Provides technical configurations strategic planning maintenance and support of Health Advocate’s systems infrastructure and networking. Responsible for all aspects of systems architecture and administration including all servers networks and identified applications. Design Azure and AWS cloud network architecture leveraging full scale redundancy. Creating clear CI/CD pipelines Strong knowledge of Azure cloud design networking configurations and management Strong knowledge of API Management Service BUS Azure Active Directory B2C Cloud Governance Cloud Access Service Broker (CASB) Strong knowledge Office 365 In Tune and Azure Active Directory Strong knowledge and ownership of MS Exchange Active Directory Federated Services Active Directory Domain and Trust Services Certificate Management Services Group Policy IIS and PowerShell. Strong knowledge of products like Cisco switches and routing Palo Alto and Sonicwall Firewalls Fortinet load balancers and Web Application Firewalls. Solid understanding of mesh networks and multi-site network management. Strong knowledge to build maintenance and support of a large number of Windows and Linux servers both physical and virtual. Strong knowledge to build maintenance and support of a large vmware environment. Strong knowledge to build maintenance and support of a large Pure Storage and NetApp SAN/NAS Strong knowledge to build maintenance and support of a load balancers. Strong knowledge to build maintenance and support of a content filtering solutions Strong knowledge to build maintain and support of firewalls and VPNs experience with Palo Alto is a plus. Strong knowledge of centralized deployment software like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Strong knowledge to build maintain and support of Mimecast or Symantec gateways. Plan and execute Disaster Recovery procedures. Capacity design and planning for 10x growth.Description
Client is ideally looking for someone that really knows the networking side of the house within Azure, and that is also still comfortable working with traditional on-prem technology as well (VMware, Cisco, Citrix, Storage, etc.)
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Health Advocate’s systems and networking infrastructure. Specifically, you will be primary owner responsible for supporting our cloud architecture, network and systems solutions. The continued success of Health Advocate depends on the reliability, security, and scalability of their systems infrastructure.

- Mental and Physical Requirements
- This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers, telephones, and printers
- The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time.
- Off hours upgrades, implementations, and on call is required.
- Essential physical functions of the job include fingering, grasping, pulling hand over hand, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware continuously throughout the work day

Educational Requirements
- Strong technical background with a solid history of delivering outstanding customer service and support.
- Ability to interact effectively with peers, business users and all levels of management
- Very strong organizational, task management, and prioritization skills, along with the ability to display strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task

- Education
- High School Degree or GED required
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- MCSA or MCSE Certification is preferred.
- CCNA or CCNP Certification is a plus.
