Workday Financials experience (at least 3–5 years in implementation configuration or support). Strong knowledge of Workday Financials modules such as: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) Procurement Expenses Financial Reporting Experience with financial data migration and system integrations (Workday Studio EIB APIs or middleware). Understanding of multi-entity multi-currency accounting and financial consolidation processes. Experience working with Chart of Accounts (COA) and financial reporting structures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Description

We are seeking a Workday Financials Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financials. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful deployment of Workday’s financial management suite.

Responsibilities

• Workday Financials Implementation & Deployment:
• Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to configure Workday Financial modules.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for financial systems deployment.
• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
• Engage with finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations.
• Identify gaps and recommend Workday solutions aligned with best practices.
• Financial Data Migration & Integration:
• Assist in the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Workday.
• Define data mapping strategies and ensure data integrity during migration.
• Work with technical teams to design and validate integrations between Workday and external financial applications.
• Chart of Accounts (COA) & Reporting:
• Define and manage the Chart of Accounts (COA) structure within Workday.
• Support financial reporting across multiple legal entities, countries, and currencies.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test plans, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot system issues and work with Workday support teams to resolve them.
• Stakeholder Communication & Training:
• Act as the primary liaison between finance, IT, and implementation partners.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users.
• Post-Implementation Support & Optimization:
• Provide post-go-live support and enhancements to optimize Workday Financials.
• Continuously assess system performance and recommend improvements.
