Description
• Provide design support to develop, and implement Workday security policies, roles, and permissions to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability to support business requirements and role redesign. Also provide support to develop and implement Compensation solutions that may include gathering requirements, researching and resolving problems and recommending alternative solutions or methods to meet business needs.
• Make compensation plan configuration recommendations, including eligibility rules, analysis of impacts to current business processes (e.g. hire, job change, etc.), compensation review processes and its elements (default compensation, grades, grade profiles, compensation plans, etc.)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and translate them into effective security configurations within the Workday platform.
• Analyze use cases and provide support to HR & Payroll Digital Technologies team. From a project perspective, determine the level of effort needed for the implementation considering the SDLC.
• Communicate regularly with functional teams on the development of projects, changes, and other work impacting Workday to avoid side effects.
• Configure, document & test configuration and functionality per requirements.
• Support development of user test cases to ensure all scenarios are included.
• Validate and load compensation, security or HCM related EIBs as needed.
• Create custom reports and configure or create custom calculated fields for reports as needed.
• Maintain proper use and transmission of sensitive data and participate in system and data quality compliance activities.
• Work across HR & Payroll Digital Technology Functions including Data conversion, HCM, Security, Production Support, PMO, GPS & Payroll
• Partner with internal team to ensure knowledge transfer to all teams including other areas of Workday.
Responsibilities
- • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- • Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Workday HCM, with a focus on security management, configuration, and compensation, including advanced compensation.
- • Workday certification(s) in Security, Compensation, or related modules preferred.
- • Strong understanding of HR processes, compensation principles, and regulatory requirements.
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
